Minutes of the twenty second meeting of the Shoreham Parish Plan Group, held at Darenth Lodge Shoreham on 23 November 2004

Minutes of the last meeting.
The minutes were read, agreed and signed.
Matters arising from the previous minutes.
It was noted that the October meeting had been cancelled
It was also noted that the £200; 00 loan from the Parish Council had been applied for and received.
Treasurers report
In Nick Walker's absence John Keates informed the committee, via the Chairman that the balance in hand was approximately £300 including the loan from the Parish Council
He also reported that although bills for our total expenditure to date had been sent to the Countryside Agency by the Parish Clerk, the CA had refused to give the SPPG any more money on the grounds that the group had received more money in grants than it had actually spent, This refusal was contrary to the original terms of the grant. Negotiations with regard to this matter were proceeding via the Parish Clerk
Additional funding
Nigel suggested that if we were in need of additional funds we could follow up the earlier suggestion that we approach the KRCC. John Bovington proposed that he might approach the CA directly; other methods of obtaining our funds were discussed.
It was agreed that we would defer any approaches until we knew the outcome of negotiations with the CA
Consider draft report
No comments had been received from any of the absent members, the committee considered the report clause by clause. The suggested amendments were discussed and noted.
The final report is attached
It was agreed that the Parish Clerk would post this final report on three websites Namely the Parish website, The Parish Plan website and Badgers Mount website
It was agreed that a notice would be inserted in the January copy of the Gazette stating that the report could be found on these websites, but anyone requiring the report on disc should apply to the Parish Clerk.
Programme for the preparation of an action plan.
It was agreed that the action plan would be discussed at the next meeting.
It was also agreed that the importance of this meeting should be stressed to all committee members, and that any committee members unable to attend should be asked to send a deputy, or if this was not possible to submit their idea's in writing before the date of the next meeting
